About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Commercial Finance to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering
    • Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering expertise on financial matters and contributing to the overall business strategy.
    • Partner with divisional leaders to develop and drive alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.
  • FP&A, Data, and Commercial Analysis
    • Oversee the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for international business units.
    • Partner with the Director of FP&A and Strategy Lead to align on needs for analytics and reporting to support decision-making.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements, control, compliance, and accounting standards.
    • Shape and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making.
    • Work cross-functionally to develop business cases, growth plans, and other proposals.
  • Leadership
    • Shape and lead finance teams to effectively support various business functions.
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback to support their professional development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
    • Communicate financial performance, trends, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and achieve common goals across the business.
    Requirements
    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification with significant PQE.
    • Proven leadership track record within a large multinational fast-paced environment.
    • International markets experience is highly desirable and preferable.
    • Led, coached, and developed high-performing teams and created a best-in-class culture.
    What We Offer
    • £120,000-£130,000 basic, car, bonus, and wider benefits.
    • Clear progression to FD within 18 months.
