Learning and Development Business Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Learning and Development Business Support Manager. As a key member of our Shared Services Partnership, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality learning and development programs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement annual learning and development programs that meet organizational needs.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that initial training programs and mandatory training courses are scheduled to meet business requirements.
- Support the Resourcing Skills and Development (RSD) team in engaging with Policing Plus and implementing and delivering apprenticeships.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including project boards, committees, working parties, and regional and national groups, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead, manage, and motivate staff to ensure continued competency and high-quality performance.
- Conduct performance reviews, address unsatisfactory performance, and handle discipline and welfare matters.
- Collate and maintain information on staff capacity and capability to inform decisions on the annual training plan and ad hoc requests.
- Track attendance at training sessions to ensure officers and staff maintain their licenses to police/practice.
