Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring cardiology and general medicine services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Take charge of patient care during designated shifts, ensuring seamless delivery of services and effective communication with the care team.
- Provide professional and clinical leadership to the care team, promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience in cardiology and general medicine, with a strong understanding of relevant clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
