UBT is a reputable, family-run SME operating in the events space. We are seeking an experienced Internal Business Development Executive to join our small and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted sales calls daily to qualify prospects and book initial meetings.
- Send relevant company information to clients.
- Qualify and cleanse our database of leads.
- Develop an understanding of our product range, how customers use it, and how best to sell it.
- Follow up customer interactions on marketing emails and other media to 'warm up' leads.
- Maintain an adequate lead bank and pipeline of warm leads, and use this to deliver the highest-quality leads at required volume.
- Record accurate and detailed summaries of virtual meetings and calls, including all actions, on our CRM.
- Conduct market research and report on upcoming events, establish contacts, and make progress in winning business.
- Quote clients and follow up on quotes.
- Ensure our database is up to date with correct information.
Requirements
- Prior experience in business development or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
