Our modern fleet of maintained vehicles enables us to offer a range of UK and worldwide transport services. We are seeking an experienced sales-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our business and services, seeking new business opportunities, and maintaining close contact with clients. They will also be expected to follow up on sales leads, supply feedback, and liaise with other departments and staff members.

The Role:

  • Promote our business and services in a professional manner
  • Seek new business opportunities from existing clients and prospective new customers
  • Maintain close contact with clients on a regular basis
  • Follow up on sales leads and supply feedback
  • Liaise with other departments and staff members
  • Monitor customer accounts using IT skills and database profiling
  • Cold calling and negotiating contractual commitments

The Person:

  • You should be focused on creating and maintaining professional relationships within the SME and corporate markets
  • You should provide proof of a successful track record in meeting financial targets and increasing profitability
  • You should be self-motivated, tenacious, innovative, and organized
  • You should possess first-class communication and presentation skills and be able to liaise with clients of varying size and commercial value
  • You should have a flexible attitude, good timekeeping, and the ability to prioritize your workflow
  • You will require the ability to generate opportunities, negotiate, close deals, and monitor progress of new business
  • You must hold a full UK driving license
