Job Title: Technology Risk Oversight Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and interpreting regulatory requirements for technology in the UK and implementing oversight frameworks to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining technology oversight frameworks and preparing relevant reports for the UK boards and fund boards.
  • Staying proactive and alert to new regulatory changes in the UK and globally.
  • Communicating regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders and preparing plans for implementation.
  • Representing Information Technology during regulatory inspections.

Global Responsibilities:

  • Participating and advising on global control implementation and improvements.
  • Working with internal and external auditors as a liaison for the business.
  • Participating and advising on global regulatory implementations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in technology audit, technology compliance, or other regulatory technology roles within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of current UK technology regulatory requirements.
  • Good documentation skills (policies, KPIs, SLAs, etc.).
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with teams spread across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Self-motivated, directed, and with attention to detail.
  • Professional-level knowledge of spoken and written English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
