Risk Management Specialist

About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our second-line compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our financial promotions and CMA activities are in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a clear and comprehensive risk appetite that outlines risk tolerances and risk limits.
- Provide regulatory advice to first-line teams and support with regulatory engagement.
- Oversee change management and associated execution/delivery risks.
- Oversight and challenge of risk data.
- Rectification/Remediation oversight – ensuring timely action taken to address control weaknesses and customer detriment.
- Deep dives into specific problems, making and agreeing recommendations for improvement.
- Writing reports which are succinct and impactful.
- Staying abreast of external environment and regulatory developments and inputting to regulatory consultations.
- Working across the broader Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk team to achieve strategic priorities for the function.
- Continuously monitor the risk landscape for changes to existing risks and identification of new, emerging risks.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a second-line compliance or legal environment.
- Knowledge of Financial Promotion rules, advertising standards and the Consumer Duty Sourcebook.
- Knowledge of CMA rules and guidance, specifically around the Retail Banking Order.
- Ability to act as one of the Group's specialist Conduct & Compliance Risk managers and represent the organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of RegTech and how to utilise technology and data-led solutions to deliver enhanced consumer outcomes.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and have challenging conversations.
- Knowledge of industry, consumer and market developments, and ability to convert this knowledge into ideas and activities that support the development, ongoing maintenance and embedding of the Financial Promotions & CMA standards and risk appetite.
