About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Specialist to join our team at NatWest. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology-related risks that could impact our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Risk Management: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, compliance, and risk management, to ensure effective risk management practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Governance: Develop and maintain risk governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, including risk assessment, mitigation, and remediation, to minimize the impact of technology-related incidents on our business.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures related to technology risk management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in technology risk management, operational risk management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of technology risk management principles, operational risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to technology risk management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
