Key Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise on consumer regulation, including FCA regulation and data protection, to support the Bank's compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to embed compliance awareness across the organisation, influencing business decisions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Perform close and continuous oversight to support the Bank's compliance with regulation, providing a view to management through Risk Opinions.
- Report on regulatory compliance risk, providing input to Committee papers and ensuring effective communication of risk insights.
- Expert knowledge of consumer regulation applicable to retail banking, with the ability to apply this knowledge to provide practical opinions and oversight.
- Strong listening and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders and provide practical and pragmatic advice on regulatory compliance.
- Good report writing skills, with the ability to understand how to deliver key messages in Board and Oversight reports.
- The ability to work well as part of a team, with a collaborative approach to achieving compliance objectives.
