Position Overview:

We are in search of a Technical Support Specialist to become a part of our dedicated team. In this position, you will be tasked with providing initial technical assistance, guidance, and support to our clients. Your main objective will be to address incidents and fulfill service requests in a timely and effective manner.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of Support Specialists to deliver Incident Management and Service Request Fulfillment services
  • Ensure prompt resolution of Incidents and Service Requests in line with established operating procedures
  • Manage the procurement, setup, deployment, and disposal of user IT equipment in accordance with relevant Asset Management protocols
  • Contribute to the Knowledge Management initiative by developing documentation for the Service Desk Knowledge Base
  • Identify and mitigate risks to uphold a secure IT environment

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a support capacity within an IT Technical Support setting
  • Understanding of hardware, software, and mobile technologies
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, Active Directory, Citrix, Windows operating systems, Apple mobile devices, Avaya Telephony, etc.
  • Proficiency in service management applications
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

Desirable Skills:

  • ITIL Service Management Foundation v3 Certification or equivalent
  • Prior experience in Service Desk support roles
  • Experience in the installation and configuration of user IT equipment
