Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a thriving primary school in Hackney.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and providing targeted support to individual students or small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is highly desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting classroom activities.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
