About the Role:

We are in search of a Senior Event Technology Consultant to enhance our Delegate Management Services team. This team manages large-scale event projects both domestically and internationally for clients across various sectors, including automotive and technology.

This position is accountable for the planning and execution of technical delegate management solutions, encompassing technology hardware/software, registration systems, applications, and other cutting-edge event technologies. Additionally, it involves ensuring that essential event reporting data is accurately captured across all utilized technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Solutions Director to oversee and execute onsite registration technology initiatives.
  • Deliver both internal and external technology projects within the defined scope.
  • Manage the logistics and shipping of equipment sent internationally.
  • Ensure that registration builds effectively capture valuable and transferable data.
  • Share best practices and serve as an escalation point for team members facing project or client challenges.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure project alignment and a seamless client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technology background, preferably within the meetings and events sector.
  • Ability to analyze numerical data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to engage and influence effectively.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • COMPITA Networking Accreditations.
  • Cvent Certification.
  • Prince 2, Agile, or similar qualifications.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week in the office for team collaboration.
  • Standard working hours are 30 hours per week with a one-hour break.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for onsite events, which may require being away from home for extended periods.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
