About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Power Device R&D Engineer to join our team at Cambridge GaN Devices. As a key member of our R&D Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cutting-edge GaN power devices and ICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful development of GaN power devices and ICs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with experts in Analog IC Design, Reliability, Power Device Design, Testing, and Operations to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Product Development: Develop and implement new product requirements, specifications, and feasibility studies for novel GaN IC products.
  • Team Management: Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant engineering or science subject.
  • Experience: Solid experience in developing semiconductor devices, preferably power devices, with a strong background in semiconductor industry experience.
  • Expertise: Expertise in the development and design of at least one of the following: Power device packaging, Analog ICs, Power semiconductors, GaN devices, Semiconductor testing and reliability.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
