Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Power Device R&D Engineer to lead our development projects of the newest GaN power devices and ICs. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for the technical leadership of GaN power IC development projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and working with project managers to develop new products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful development of GaN power ICs.
  • Project Management: Work with project managers to develop new products, meeting time, cost, and performance targets.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with experts in Analog IC Design, Reliability, Power Device Design, Testing, and Operations to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Product Requirements: Manage product requirements and specifications in collaboration with Marketing, Business Development, and Application Engineering.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies of novel GaN IC products to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant engineering or science subject.
  • Experience: Solid experience in developing semiconductor devices, preferably power devices, and semiconductor industry experience.
  • Expertise: Expertise in the development and design of at least one of the following: Power device packaging, Analog ICs, Power semiconductors, GaN devices, Semiconductor testing and reliability.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management and strategic thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including writing white papers and application notes.
