The SZC Project is a nuclear new build initiative in Suffolk, which has secured planning approval and government financial backing. Once completed, it will deliver reliable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, contributing to Britain's Net Zero goal by 2050.

We are currently looking for a Project Administration Specialist to support our HR Operations team.

Our teams operate with flexibility, utilizing a hybrid working model that allows for a balance between office and remote work. We provide comprehensive IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work effectively from home.

Role Overview

The Sizewell C project is a major infrastructure endeavor aimed at providing low-carbon electricity. We are in search of a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of Project Administration Specialist. This position is essential for the efficient execution of HR-related initiatives and for supporting the HR leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Deliver high-level administrative assistance to the HR leadership team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.
  • Project Coordination: Aid in the planning, execution, and oversight of HR projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and efficient task completion.
  • Communication: Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing inquiries and facilitating effective communication across teams.
  • Documentation: Prepare, review, and disseminate project-related documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Data Management: Maintain precise records, including HR databases and project management tools, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges within HR operations and collaborate with the team to devise and implement solutions.
  • Support HR Operations: Assist with various HR operational tasks as needed, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a PA or project support capacity, preferably within the Transport, Energy, or Government sectors.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High level of discretion and capability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and procedures is advantageous.
