Advanced Practitioner - Integrated Urgent Care Service Bank

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Integrated Urgent Care Service Bank in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, paramedicine, or a related field, with significant post-registration experience in a community setting. You will be accountable for clinical governance and leadership within the service, implementing evidence-based practice, and practicing at a high level in assessing and diagnosing patients with a range of clinical presentations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients in the community, including newborns, paediatrics, and end-of-life care.
  • Develop and implement care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including the design and delivery of education and training programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements
  • Registered as a nurse, paramedic, or AHP with a relevant professional body.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a community setting, with a strong background in clinical governance and leadership.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of clinical expertise and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
