Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Healthcare Practitioner to join our Integrated Urgent Care Service in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be accountable for clinical governance and leadership within the service, implementing evidence-based practice and ensuring the dissemination of knowledge throughout the team.

As an Advanced Healthcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients with a range of clinical presentations, working autonomously to deliver high-quality care. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess and diagnose patients with a range of clinical presentations.
  • Implement evidence-based practice, ensuring the dissemination of knowledge throughout the team.
  • Contribute to the development of our service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership and governance, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant post-registration experience, with a strong background in urgent care and community healthcare.
  • Advanced clinical skills, including physical assessment and physiological reasoning.
  • Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of developing and implementing change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
