About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Akari Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading by example to inspire and motivate your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional clinical care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Conduct regular assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and palliative care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practices.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

About You:

  • You are a registered nurse with an active PIN and no restrictions.
  • You possess a caring nature, with a strong ability to empathize with residents and their families.
  • You have a proven track record of leadership, with experience in motivating and delegating to a team.
  • You are a coachable leader, with a strong ability to empower colleagues and promote a culture of open communication.
  • You possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing situations and priorities.
  • You possess a warm, approachable, and engaging persona, with a strong ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
