Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team at Totally. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical care of our patients and enhancing the capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the health and clinical needs of patients and undertake consultations as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Use advanced clinical practice skills and clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
  • Support existing clinical care and lead the clinical teams in the Urgent Care Centres.
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification.
  • Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent).
  • Evidence of completion of study in paediatric minor illness or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
