Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team at Totally. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting our clinical care teams to enhance capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-professional teams to provide high-quality patient care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification.
  • Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (equivalent or higher).
  • Evidence of completion of study in paediatric minor illness or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
