About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Team at HMP Stoke Heath.

As a key member of our team, you will provide evidence-based interventions and manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver a comprehensive and dynamic service, utilizing the stepped care model and the Care Programme Approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assessments and reviews to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Delivering therapeutic group work and evidenced-based interventions
  • Identifying individuals requiring hospital treatment and facilitating timely transfers under the Mental Health Act
  • Line management of Band 5 nurses where applicable
