Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at STRABAG UK Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in developing and monitoring project schedules to ensure all customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in project kick-off, mid-point, and completion meetings.
  • Attend site visits to monitor project progress.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed construction and design plans, including the development of critical path and project float.
  • Support the Senior Estimator in developing project plans and documenting scope, developing project plans and preliminary cost estimates (for tender programs).
  • Presentations to the Estimating Manager, Senior Management, and customers as required.
  • Monitor hours and costs to identify trends and contribute to forecasting.
  • Support the development of cost and resource-loaded project schedules.
  • Coordinate the review of estimated design costs, including equipment, installations, labor, materials, preparations, and other related costs.
  • Coordinate projects with all relevant parties to ensure projects are completed on time and regulatory and safety requirements are met.
  • Interact with other functional teams, including but not limited to: BIM team, design team, estimation, and construction execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC qualification in construction.
  • CSCS card.
  • Competence in Asta Powerproject.
  • Experience in construction contract execution.
  • Active experience with a variety of planning techniques suitable for both tender and contract execution.
  • Clear knowledge of commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing asset structures, planning standards, WBS, and planning processes in a BIM environment.
  • Knowledge of safety, environment, and risk management.
  • Strong communication skills.
