About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Cost Estimator to join our team at S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd. As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the completion of construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely receipt of bids and quotes.
  • Work closely with project management teams to follow up on bids and budgets to close the business.
  • Prepare or coordinate full estimates on complex and large projects as required by client or customer documents.
  • Obtain bids from subcontractors, negotiate prices for materials, and review estimates for correctness and accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed analytical tenders, maintain a library of pricing and outputs data, and assist with the management of production.
  • Negotiate estimates and tenders with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong main contractor construction background.
  • Experience managing projects from 1st principles and estimating projects from £5million to £50million across a multitude of sectors.
