POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Care Services Supervisor will oversee the care team during their shifts, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive physical, emotional, and social support. This role is pivotal in maintaining the daily operations of the home, supervising the Keyworker system, and ensuring accurate documentation related to resident care and procedures. Additional duties include managing medication distribution, serving as a resource for inquiries from visitors and professionals, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide exceptional personal and emotional care to all residents, coordinating schedules to meet their specific needs, including medication management and personal hygiene. Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed within established timeframes. Support and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and adherence to the organization's values while acting as a source of guidance and motivation. Represent Gold Care Homes positively in all interactions with visitors and the public, exemplifying the behaviors that align with our mission and values. Safeguard the rights of residents and staff, fostering a culture of trust and integrity in line with our care philosophy. Provide a responsive telephone and inquiry service, addressing the needs of the public and relatives with attentiveness and professionalism. Assume responsibility for a designated area of expertise, managing it effectively for the benefit of the care team and management.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Stay informed about Health and Safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to empower staff and uphold the organization's standards in resident care. Maintain open lines of communication among staff, colleagues, and residents. Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all client and business matters. Perform any other tasks as assigned. Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance professional contributions. Be adaptable to changing business needs, demonstrating enthusiasm and flexibility in your role.
