Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Services Supervisor, you will embody a compassionate and professional approach, backed by a solid clinical foundation and a current NMC registration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily care operations for residents, effectively assigning tasks to nursing and care personnel as needed.
• Provide clinical guidance to the nursing team, ensuring they maintain the necessary competencies to meet residents' needs.
• Serve as a Shift Team Leader, offering supervision and support to care staff.
• Facilitate the training and development of care staff, consistently acting as a role model.
• Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, attending mandatory training sessions as required.
• Ensure adherence to Gold Care standards, leading to positive outcomes for residents.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of services, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Uphold high professional standards and leadership, maintaining relevant professional memberships.
• Assist the Home Manager with staff supervision and performance evaluations, ensuring high-quality care standards.
• Implement and comply with Gold Care's policies, legal requirements, and professional codes of conduct.
• Support effective recruitment, performance management, and staff deployment to achieve quality care outcomes.
• Collaborate with maintenance contractors and oversee property upkeep as required.
• Promote the services of Gold Care through effective communication with stakeholders, including residents, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Represent the facility positively within the community, maintaining occupancy levels and supporting marketing efforts.
• Ensure all staff prioritize exceptional customer care, enhancing the lives of residents and the reputation of Gold Care.
• Undertake additional duties as necessary to support the business objectives of Gold Care Homes.
