Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our Lewisham team. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for mentoring new staff, leading field-based compliance, and assisting with client assessments and reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and support new staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Lead field-based compliance initiatives, including quality monitoring, spot checks, and hospital discharges
  • Assist with client assessments, reviews, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to staff as needed

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience assessing vulnerable clients in their own homes
  • Familiarity with essential health and safety equipment in the community
  • Professional and responsive approach to risk management
  • Knowledge of local authority compliance and CQC requirements
  • Champion of service user rights and dignity
  • Experience with Mental Capacity Assessments, Care Planning, and Risk Assessments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel

Requirements

This role requires a high degree of flexibility and is not office-based. Weekend working, on-call, and some morning and evening shifts are required due to the nature of the business.
