About the Role

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Community Care Solicitor to join our team. As a Community Care Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in the field of community care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in community care matters
  • Supervise and manage a team of solicitors and caseworkers
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Collaborate with other firms and barristers' chambers on funding and case management issues
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in community care law and regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations from supervisors and ensure compliance with file management
Requirements
  • Valid practicing certificate
  • Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded community care work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Wills & Probate related work
  • Experience in own advocacy is an advantage
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and document management
