Neighbourhood Housing Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our Tenancy Services team at Swindon Borough Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our tenants receive excellent customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake all Estate and Tenancy Management functions for approximately 850 properties, ensuring maximum rental income is collected.
- Deal with low-level nuisance and anti-social behaviour, signing up new tenancies, and tenancy management.
- Provide welfare advice and work closely with external agencies and our tenants.
- Travel throughout the Borough to perform duties.
- Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to travel throughout the Borough.
- Fluency in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
