Lead Neighbourhood Housing Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer-focused services, managing neighbourhoods effectively and improving the quality of life for residents.
  • Oversee and supervise a team of officers, providing guidance and acting as a flexible resource in dealing with complex issues and cases in all tenancy matters.
  • Support the Neighbourhood Housing Manager and deputise for them in their absence.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and partner agencies, understanding their needs and addressing their concerns.
  • Implement community engagement initiatives/projects to enhance customer involvement and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations and health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Housing, particularly in Tenancy Services/Estate Management.
  • A passion for community development and customer well-being.
  • Knowledge of housing laws and regulations.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • The ability to travel throughout the Borough.
