Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing tailored behaviour management strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective behaviour intervention plans.
  • Providing both individual and group support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress regarding behavioural objectives.
  • Organising and facilitating workshops on emotional regulation and conflict resolution for students.
  • Serving as a positive role model by demonstrating appropriate behaviour and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in behaviour support, counselling, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and the capacity to connect with students from various backgrounds.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Familiarity with behaviour intervention strategies and techniques.
