Position Overview
Join our dedicated team in the General Needs sector, where you will play a vital role in enhancing community living. As a Community Engagement Assistant, you will be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment for residents, ensuring they can effectively manage their tenancies and thrive within their community.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the neighbourhood manager in addressing a variety of tenancy management challenges, including but not limited to: anti-social behaviour, property upkeep, garden maintenance, handling complaints, safeguarding, and tenancy misuse cases. Provide tenants with clear and accurate guidance regarding their rights and responsibilities.
  • Take initiative in maintaining high standards of the environment, assisting the neighbourhood manager with gardening and cleaning services.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues within residences, collaborating with the asset management and repairs team to resolve any concerns efficiently.
  • Work alongside the neighbourhood manager to ensure timely allocation and re-letting of vacant properties, adhering to established policies and best practices.
  • Encourage effective collaboration with local agencies by building strong relationships and attending community meetings to promote our mission.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the estate to identify and address environmental concerns, implementing practical solutions for improvement.

  • Exhibit a proactive, self-motivated approach with a positive mindset.
  • Show empathy and understanding towards our tenants.
  • Possess the ability to view challenges from multiple perspectives and handle sensitive situations with care.
