Job Title: Audiology Clinic Support Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Clinical Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our clinical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our audiology clinics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including managing patient correspondence, data inputting, and problem-solving.
  • Deal with a range of telephone queries, arranging appointments, and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration or Customer Service or equivalent.
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • RSA Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
  • Clear understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology.
  • Understanding of primary care referral pathways.
  • Understanding of the 18-week referral to treatment guidelines.
