Audiology Clinic Support Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Clinical Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our clinical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our audiology clinics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including managing patient correspondence, data inputting, and problem-solving.
- Deal with a range of telephone queries, arranging appointments, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Administration or Customer Service or equivalent.
- GCSE Maths and English.
- RSA Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
- Clear understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology.
- Understanding of primary care referral pathways.
- Understanding of the 18-week referral to treatment guidelines.
