About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CMHT Medical Secretary, providing administrative support to our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our clinical teams, including preparing and maintaining patient records, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for clinical staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively.
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
  • Supervised experience gained during clinical placements.
  • Ability to use IT systems.
  • Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to use own initiative within sphere of authority.

Desirable Criteria

  • At least 2 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Learning and assessing in practice qualification.
