Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Audiologist
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Audiologist to join our team at the Portland Hospital. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the Hearing & Balance Department, working closely with our experienced team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments for newborns to 18-year-olds, including hearing tests, impedance testing, and OAEs
- Perform CAPD assessments and work alongside ENT consultants
- Assist Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing and balance assessments
- Conduct balance assessments, including VNG, calorics, and rotary chair testing
- Electro-physiological testing, including ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs, and o-VEMPs
- Communicate results to patients and families, as appropriate
Requirements:
- MSc or BSc in Audiology
- Knowledge of paediatric audiology
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong team player with good communication skills
