Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Audiologist

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Audiologist to join our team at the Portland Hospital. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the Hearing & Balance Department, working closely with our experienced team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing assessments for newborns to 18-year-olds, including hearing tests, impedance testing, and OAEs
  • Perform CAPD assessments and work alongside ENT consultants
  • Assist Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing and balance assessments
  • Conduct balance assessments, including VNG, calorics, and rotary chair testing
  • Electro-physiological testing, including ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs, and o-VEMPs
  • Communicate results to patients and families, as appropriate

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc in Audiology
  • Knowledge of paediatric audiology
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
