The Customer Engagement Executive plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer interactions. You will be tasked with nurturing a pipeline of prospective clients and collaborating closely with the Product Manager to engage with our existing customer base. Reporting directly to the COO, your contributions will be vital in fostering a global network of users committed to addressing the challenges posed by endemic and epidemic infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and maintain an active customer pipeline.
- Ensure the effectiveness and compliance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to address customer inquiries, facilitate user groups, and assist in product demonstrations.
- Direct issues and inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
- Analyze competitors, stakeholders, and potential partners, while maintaining a comprehensive database of key players in the pathogen genomics landscape.
- Work alongside the Product Manager to cultivate an engaged user community.
- Guarantee a positive customer experience by promptly addressing feedback and focusing on customer retention.
- Assist in procurement and tender processes, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance submissions.
- Contribute to the creation of sales and training materials.
- Support the planning and execution of customer conferences, events, and meetings.
Candidate Profile:
We seek an individual who is highly driven, proactive, and eager to expand their experience in a customer-facing role. You should be a collaborative team player who demonstrates honesty, integrity, and sound judgment. A genuine passion for leveraging technology to enhance global health is essential.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a client-facing role within the health or technology sectors.
- A proven track record of success in a start-up or scaling environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in rapidly growing organizations, Software as a Service (SaaS), and genomics is advantageous but not mandatory.
