Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Neurorehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Brainkind. As a Clinical Psychologist - Neurorehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strategic, professional, and clinical leadership to our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with neuropsychological clinical practice.
  • Provide expert clinical consultation and professional guidance to clinical neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, and other clinicians within BIRT.
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust service across the relevant region, including the clinical leadership of the multidisciplinary team and support worker staff within the service and other related BIRT services in the region.
  • Develop and implement policy for the service as a whole, ensuring the planning and development of a systematic response to service need.
  • Interpret professional policies and ensure that the service operates at the highest level of quality and current best practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology, accepted by BPS for Graduate Basis Registration (GBR) or equivalent.
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the BPS.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing highly complex and sensitive information in a manner appropriate to a range of settings and audiences.
  • Ability to analyse and manage complex multi-factorial information from a range of sources both clinical and organisational.
  • Sound skills in the management of specialist professional staff, of the day-to-day management of clinical services, and of financial resources.
  • Knowledge of legislation and its implication for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to the service user group.
