Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and being a clinical role model to our 24-hour inpatient team.
In this role, you will act on behalf of and deputise for the manager in their absence, providing quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
Main Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and clinical guidance to the team
- Supervise and appraise staff to ensure high-quality care
- Manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Develop and maintain clinical standards in accordance with local and national priorities
- Collaborate with Matron to set and audit clinical standards
