We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team at Lifelancer Ltd as a Clinical Director to support and deliver cardiology clinical studies. The successful candidate will have a leading role in planning, coordinating, and managing clinical research studies, including clinical trials.

This is a part-time position, with a minimum of 28 hours per week. We are open to considering other part-time hours up to 28 hours per week. The post is fixed-term, but we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working models that combine remote and on-campus work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and management of clinical research studies, including clinical trials.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery of studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff, to achieve study objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and disseminate complex information to stakeholders, including study results and progress updates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, investigators, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (desirable).
  • Considerable study management experience within a hospital or NHS setting (desirable).
  • Excellent project management, team working, and communication skills.
