About the Role

Glasgow Life is seeking a qualified Swimming Teacher to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering fun and engaging lessons to our Learn to Swim customers, ranging from Pre-School to Adults, Beginners to Improvers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and skill levels
  • Work collaboratively with the Swim Coordinators and other teachers to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of lessons
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for customers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of swimming programs and initiatives

Requirements

  • Scottish Swimming Teachers Qualification (SSTQ) or UKCC Level 1 or UKCC L2 Swim Teachers Qualification
  • Experience/knowledge and enthusiasm of working with children ages 4yrs and above in a group environment
  • Good communication skills and a flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of our core program
