Responsibilities of the Aquatic Facilities Technical Specialist include:
- Assessing, planning, and prioritizing maintenance and repair needs for our 12 aquatic facilities.
- Overseeing contractors, including organizing and leading site meetings, monitoring performance against objectives, and ensuring appropriate recharges are initiated.
- Collaborating closely with Sport Operations Managers to provide regular updates on all aspects of aquatic facility operations.
- Ensuring timely execution of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with specifications.
- Evaluating risk assessments and method statements to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conducting routine inspections of pools and plant rooms to maintain technical compliance and identify maintenance requirements.
- Managing pool chemical contracts to ensure compliance and reliability of all relevant agreements. Reviewing pool test results and ensuring necessary corrective actions are taken by venue teams.
- Performing regular analysis of pool chemistry results to ensure venues are accurately recording results within acceptable parameters and assisting venue managers with required corrective measures. Overseeing the procurement of parts and chemicals for all pools to maintain consistency and adequate stock levels.
