Position Overview

In collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner and the broader HR team, you will deliver proactive and strategic HR guidance to facilitate the implementation of HR transformation initiatives and achieve key objectives aligned with the people strategy. This role involves partnering with the business to blend an understanding of organizational dynamics with HR acumen, ensuring effective support for restructuring, TUPE, and change management activities to fulfill current and future organizational requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships across various levels of the organization through effective collaboration and credibility.
  • Assist the Senior HR Business Partner in executing change initiatives, including restructuring, redundancy settlements, and TUPE processes.
  • Lead the drafting of settlement agreements and manage associated redundancy costs in partnership with the HR team.
  • Engage confidently with legal counsel to finalize settlement agreements, overseeing the process from execution to payroll instructions.
  • Support the HR team by delivering monthly reports with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Act as the primary contact for the HR team regarding change initiatives and TUPE-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on complex employee relations matters related to reorganizations and redundancies, demonstrating experience in managing redundancy consultations and advising on selection criteria.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and urgent requests from the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider HR team.
  • Compile and analyze HR management information, interpreting results to identify trends and presenting findings to senior management.
  • This role is based in London and may involve occasional business travel.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current knowledge of HR best practices, UK employment legislation, and emerging trends in HR.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in managing redundancy programs.

Professional Credentials

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5, or an equivalent relevant professional qualification.
