Job Title: Senior VAT Analyst

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior VAT Analyst to join our European VAT Compliance & Controllership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing processes and driving improvements through scalable automation using SQL and other analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process improvement and productivity enhancement of VAT compliance and controllership teams
  • Automate manual deep dives through data extraction and validation tasks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver impactful findings
  • Collect requirements from end-users and customers to create automation strategies
  • Liaise with key business partners and senior management to align priorities and define best-in-class processes
Requirements:
  • Proven record of operational excellence and defect reduction
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to seek feedback
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytical tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
