Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to architect, develop, and execute innovative solutions to intricate business challenges. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders to accurately capture their needs and requirements, ensuring that the solutions designed not only meet these needs but also effectively manage technology risks while facilitating business delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop scalable solutions that evolve with business needs, adhering to contemporary software engineering practices and automated delivery methodologies. This includes the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies and platforms.
  • Conduct targeted design initiatives that optimize workload distribution and leverage cloud capabilities such as elasticity, serverless computing, and containerization.
  • Implement best practice designs that incorporate security principles, ensuring compliance with the organization's resiliency standards.
  • Deliver solutions that judiciously balance risks and controls to achieve the desired business and technological outcomes.
  • Promote the adoption of standardized solutions where applicable, and contribute to their ongoing development when necessary.
  • Provide support for fault diagnosis and performance issues to operational teams, utilizing available tools effectively.
  • Assess the impact of solution designs in terms of risk, capacity, and cost, including estimates for project changes and ongoing operational expenses.
  • Develop necessary architectural documentation to comply with governance processes, including design artifacts required for architecture, privacy, security, and records management.
Leadership Expectations
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on the impacts and alignments across functional and cross-functional areas.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through thorough assessments, supporting the control and governance framework.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing risks and enhancing controls related to team activities.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
  • Develop solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking, comparing and selecting among complex alternatives. In-depth analysis and interpretative thinking will be essential for problem definition and innovative solution development.
  • Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives, employing influencing and negotiation skills to drive results.
