About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, sleep disorders, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including respiratory nurses, physiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our respiratory services.

We are a large and diverse trust, serving a population of around 700,000 people and providing specialist services for Kent and Medway. Our trust is committed to delivering excellent patient care and improving health outcomes for our community.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about respiratory medicine and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. If you are a skilled clinician with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care to patients with respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, sleep disorders, and COPD.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our respiratory services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for respiratory care.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff and students.
