About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Consultant to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our acute medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical care to patients with acute medical conditions
  • Lead and manage clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our acute medicine services, including the design and implementation of new clinical pathways
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Entry on the GMC specialist register via relevant CCT or CESR
  • Leadership and teaching experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
