Health, Safety and Wellbeing Specialist

Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team in a dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the company's values by providing on-site coaching and guidance to employees.
- Conduct hazard analysis, risk assessment, site inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide expert advice on subcontractors and assist in incident investigations to ensure a thorough understanding of the root cause.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and briefings to employees on Health and Safety best practices.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Construction / Infrastructure Health & Safety, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
- Hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NVQ level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety, with a strong foundation in Health and Safety principles.
- Hold a Construction-related CSCS qualification, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards.
- Excellent information management and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
