Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our Countywide Duty Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and correspondence from professionals, care providers, and service users.
  • Provide first point of contact for administration within the team and direct calls and work to the appropriate teams or workers.
  • Gather information and utilize our case management system to record details.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a call center or administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
