Are you an experienced and meticulous Financial Operations Assistant with a background in Credit Control? Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to become part of their team in Chelmsford for a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

In the role of Financial Operations Assistant, you will be integral to the financial management of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Credit Control function to ensure timely payments
  • Reconciling both Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • Assisting the Financial Manager in the preparation of Management Accounts
  • Providing guidance and support to apprentice accounting staff
  • Responding to inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner

Additional Accounting Responsibilities:

To thrive in this position, you should possess:
  • AAT qualification or equivalent (QBE will be considered)
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounts and Credit Control
