About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading FMCG company on a 6-month Supply Chain graduate internship. The main areas of focus will be Demand Planning and Customer Supply Chain Management, but you will learn about all of the supply and play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain team and other departments.
This role will also offer the opportunity to learn about, and work with, the other functions including sales, finance, customer fulfillment, marketing, and category management.
Responsibilities:
- Gain hands-on experience within our supply chain team, covering key areas such as Demand Planning, Business Analytics, Retailer Strategies, Logistics, Supply Planning, and Customer Supply Chains.

- Working closely with other supply chain departments to understand end-to-end processes and improve customer collaboration, including daily calls with logistics providers.
- Identify and drive projects to improve efficiency and optimization within the supply chain and other departments, such as cost-saving initiatives and order profile improvements.
- Gathering, interpreting, and sharing insights on customer activity, NPD, and seasonal performance within accounts, using seasonal trackers, checking product availability and customer data portals.
- Supporting account managers in the internal planning process to achieve forecasting accuracy.
- Work directly with customers to develop collaborative supply chain processes that enhance forecast accuracy and service levels, including monthly meetings, weekly service level emails, and consistent communication.
- Control over advanced forecasting software like SAP and Exceedra to implement daily modifications and meet customer demand.
- Conduct daily order volume analysis to mitigate out-of-stock risks.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree (Business discipline preferred but not essential).
- Self-starter graduates with strong analytical skills and ideally, prior placement experience in an FMCG business.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills to develop or create new reports that support the business and colleagues.
