Clinical Research Facility Receptionist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at the NIHR GOSH Clinical Research Facility. As the first point of contact for patients and staff, you will provide exceptional administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of our reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer care and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage patient appointments and track patient records using our electronic patient records system (EPIC)
- Provide administrative support to the research delivery team and contribute to the efficient running of the department
- Assist with reimbursement processes and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Previous experience in a reception or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic patient records systems
